Going skydiving in a few days and i was curious as to what to expect. Im sure nothing will go wrong but what are the chances of something happeing like my chute not opeing or my chute getting tangled. I like my risks to be calculated

I don’t judge people by what they wear or how/when they wear it…so, no.

I am planning to skydive but don’t really understand the risks.

Very rarely. About 1 in every 100,000 skydives ends in a fatality, mostly experienced jumpers making dangerous low-altitude maneuvers under fully-functional high-performance canopies. About 1 in 500,000 skydives end in fatality due to canopy malfunction . The main canopy fails about once in every 600 deployments, but it’s packed for a softer opening. The reserve is packed differently and with a lower failure rate.

Keep in mind, of course, that fatalities are only one part of the equation, there are plenty of ways to hurt yourself if you aren’t careful. More info here:
